Anatomy & Physiology

Electronics

Medical Instrumentation

Troubleshooting

Canadian and other recognized stardards

The second section contains Essay questions pertaining to the practice and organizational management of Biomedical Engineering Programmes.

Exam Schedule

Certification Examinations are arranged on an as needed basis. Examination proctors are engaged at a location close to the candidate's home, or work. The time and date of an examination is negotiated between the candidate and the proctor. Once the mutually agreeable date has been set, the Board of Examiners' Secretariat prepares the examination documents and has them shipped to the proctor in good time for the examination. The candidate's examination results are usually available within four to six weeks of writing.

Study Aids

A Study Guide is available that includes a suggested reading list and a "mini-exam". The mini-exam covers all sections of the typical examination and allows the prospective candidate to get a feel for the style and types of questions that would be included in the real examination. Answers to questions are included as a means of self testing your readiness to write the examination. The Study Guide is available for download under the documents page.
